![Senior sprinter and anchor leg Will Knowlton crosses the finish line at the end of the boys 4x400 meter relay. The track team competed last Saturday in the Sectional B meet, which consisted of regions 2, 3, 6, and 7, sending 21 entrants from Starr’s Mill to state. One of those entries was the boys 4x400 relay team, who won their event with a time of 3 minutes and 21.29 seconds. “A lot of momentum going in [to sectionals], so today we wanted to keep up that mentality,” Knowlton said. “Just continue to do what we’ve been practicing. [Sectionals] is just a show of how we’ve practiced. We do practice perfectly, at high standards, so we knew it was going to replicate out on the field so we just wanted to do it how we practice.”](https://www.theprowlernews.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/FEATURE-2.jpg)
