The change takes effect Oct. 19 and includes switching from three to four lunch periods.

The famous victory bell stands at Panther Stadium. Its sound being chimed after every single win. This season, Starrs Mill will face a region filled with stiff competition, with over half of the region fighting fiercely for the region crown.  For Starr’s Mill, a region title this year would tie the record for region championships won within the county. From hopefuls, wildcards, and powerhouses, this is The Prowler’s Region 2-AAAAA football tier list.

When Im sometimes asked when will there be enough [women on the Supreme Court] and I say, When there are nine, people are shocked. But thered been nine men, and nobodys ever raised a question about that.” ―Ruth Bader Ginsburg. On Sept. 18, Ginsburg, the second woman ever appointed to the Supreme Court, passed away at the age of 87 after complications with pancreatic cancer. Ginsburg’s family was with her in her Washington home at the time of her passing. She was an icon for justice and a role model for young women all over the nation.

Choral director Dr. John Odom instructs Chanticleer from a distance. All students are separated in 6-foot intervals and required to wear masks. Studies have shown that it is safe to sing for 30 minutes without the spread of aerosol in the air. Many students have switched to virtual further reducing the risk of contact, but fewer students and strict guidelines have forced many changes and adaptations in the performing arts.
