Twenty students advance in GHP process
Twenty Starr’s Mill students have advanced out of the county level and are now eligible for Governor’s Honors Program state interviews. Potential state candidates include five sophomores and 15 juniors.
“We have great students that are super interested in a lot of programs offered by the state,” GHP coordinator Brandi Meeks said.
This week’s state interviews are the final part of GHP. If students are selected at state, they move onto a four-week program during the summer.
Potential interviewees will be notified February 10. State interviews will be held at Georgia Southern on March 11.
