Cheers

Cheers to Chick-fil-a being so close to the school. It is so nice to be able to run through the drive-thru before or after school for a snack. It is like that friend that is always there for you… unless it is Sunday.

It is like that friend that is always there for you… unless it is Sunday.

Cheers to rain on days you have nothing to do. Waking up to the sound of rain, cozying up with your favorite book, and getting a nice hot cup of coffee on a Sunday morning is one of the best feelings in the world…until you realize it is actually Monday and you have class in five minutes.

Cheers to moms who pack your lunch for you. It is so awesome to have one less thing to stress about in the mornings.

Cheers to Fayette County schools sweeping Coweta County schools in the 2nd annual Fayette-Coweta Kickoff Classic. Starr’s Mill, Whitewater, and Sandy Creek all dominated over their Coweta County opponents.

Cheers to dressing up in pajama pants so you can wear them to school. If they do not look like pajamas, they are in fact not pajamas.

Jeers

Jeers to the coffee jitters. Is this because we consume more caffeine than water? Most definitely. Will we stop? No.

Jeers to bad weather during important outdoor events. Imagine being so excited for your upcoming soccer game, and then…Boom! Lightning strikes, and the game is rescheduled for a day you already had plans.

No, not the ones you wear around your neck, but the kind during sporting events.

Jeers to ties. No, not the ones you wear around your neck, but the kind during sporting events. It must stink to watch an entire game cheering on your favorite team, only for no one to win.

Jeers to children being left unattended at football games. Look, y’all, no one wants to watch your five-year-old run around in the middle of a group of high school students. It is unsafe, it is annoying, and random strangers are not your babysitters.

Jeers to early lunches. Who wants to eat lunch at 11 in the morning? It is basically still breakfast at that point. And don’t call it brunch. Brunch is for weekends.
