Cheers

Cheers to “Hocus Pocus 2” coming out on September 30. Grab your candy corn, popcorn balls, and snuggle up for a great update to this Halloween classic.

Cheers to hibachi. It is dinner and a show. The little volcano on fire ties it all together.

Cheers to sweet tea. We are in the south, and it is sweet tea. Need we say more?

Cheers to sweater weather. No, not the song, the actual temperature. It is finally cold enough to grab those knit sweaters and jackets out of hibernation–and then be burning up by 1 p.m.

Cheers to stickers. They are a great way to decorate every aspect of your life from computers to cars.

Cheers to the new iPhone 14. Woohoo, another iPhone. Like we do not already have eight others.

Jeers

Jeers to Prince Charles becoming King of England. Anyone who disrespects Diana the way he did does not deserve the crown.

Jeers to the Falcons blowing another lead. New season, new quarterback, same Falcons.

Jeers to it being -100 degrees in the school. While that might be an exaggeration, it is what it feels like.

Jeers to asthma. Not being able to breathe is just horrible.

Jeers to weekend homework. Think of school like an hourly-based job. We are here Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:45 p.m., but on weekends we are clocked out and will not be doing work we are not getting paid for.

Jeers to waking up before your alarm. “There goes five minutes of sleep I’ll never get back,” EIC Caroline Hubbard said, after waking up before her alarm.
