Cheers to the new golf cart tunnel being open after many years of planning. Students no longer have to cross the street on Foreston Place, easing traffic for cars and golf carts alike.

Cheers to apples. Apples are a great source of fiber. As we begin to approach fall and all the flavors that come with it, we may get to enjoy some delicious apple pie. After all, an apple a day keeps the doctor away.

Cheers to Zaxby’s. Their new lemon pepper wings are an amazing addition to their menu.

Cheers to the school store opening. With the new vending machine regulations, the school store has stepped up as the best new place to get snacks and treats during lunch. They also accept card payments! Be sure to visit them during your lunch to check out their new assortment of treats.

Cheers to Conrad Fischer. As the third season of “The Summer I Turned Pretty” comes out, we have only seen more reasons to cheer for the better, smarter, and more mature brother for Belly.

Jeers to Universal closing down the Rip It rollercoaster. This iconic coaster will be permanently shut down on August 18 to make way for a newer, larger attraction at the park.

Jeers to two-part shows. The latest marketing tactic that Netflix has tried is releasing seasons of shows in multiple parts in hopes of amplifying suspense. Instead, it makes people not enjoy the season as much.

Jeers to moving lunches. There is nothing worse than having a test and finding out your teacher has moved your lunch so you have to find an entirely new group of people to sit with.

Jeers to the remodeled Chick-fil-A. The Starr’s Mill Chick-fil-A reopened and was supposed to be better, but the inside is more cramped than before leaving a lot to be desired.

Jeers to the vending machines being closed during lunch. Due to legislation about healthy lunch options, the vending machines will no longer be available during lunch.

Jeers to Jeremiah Fischer. In “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” Jeremiah’s proposal, after cheating on Belly, just shows how immature he is and how he is obviously the wrong choice.
