Tim Monihan and Farmers Insurance recognize senior Mia Brown as the ninth Player of the Week for the spring sports season.

“I have definitely been more confident in my races, and just faster in general,” Brown said.

Brown is a sprinter for track and field. She is reliable and focused, consistently meeting expectations on the track. At sectionals, Brown placed first in the 400-meter and 200-meter,  while also being a part of the 4×400-meter team that finished first.

“Mia has had back-to-back great performances,” head coach Brandon Frey said. “She’s been having really dominant performances lately.”

Brown is one of over 20 Starr’s Mill track and field athletes who qualified for the state championships on May 9.
