Ansiba Bakaly

Sophomore Ansiba Bakaly will represent Starr’s Mill in biology.

“I took biology last year and I really enjoyed it,” Bakaly said.

Bakaly credits science teachers Jessica Tatum and Kelly Rock for her success.

“Mrs. Rock and Mrs. Tatum have helped me explore my interests in science and provided me with the opportunity to experience the GHP process,” Bakaly said.

This experience will help her as she pursues a career in neonatology

Bakaly won first in both this and last year’s county science fairs. Outside of science, she placed third in the French poetry recitation contest last year.

“GHP would be an absolute amazing opportunity, as I would get to explore the unique world of biology,” Bakaly said.

In her free time, Bakaly enjoys painting and making crafts.
