Juan Fritschy-Cartier
Junior Juan Fritschy-Cartier will represent Starr’s Mill in German.
“I took a lot of APs for this,” Fritschy said.
He credits his teachers in Berlin for his success.
“I went to Berlin for a month over the summer, so I had a lot of teachers that helped me there,” Fritschy-Carter said.
While he has business opportunities in Germany, he has decided not to pursue them and instead pursue STEM rather than a career based there.
He was recognized at the Clemson Poetry Declamation last fall where he earned first place. Fritschy also received the German I and German II awards during his time in those courses.
Fritschy also enjoys reading and playing guitar and FIFA.
