Cheers & Jeers

Cheers & Jeers
Cheers

Cheers to spring forward.  More daylight during each day, gives us more time to get outside and enjoy the weather.

We are almost there, Panthers. Just a few more months.”

Cheers to pasta. What a wonderful food that can be crafted into great things like chicken alfredo and spaghetti.

Cheers to spring baseball. It is always fun when a sport starts up, especially when it is one as exciting as baseball.

Cheers to 12 more weeks of school. We are almost there, Panthers. Just a few more months.

Cheers to Atlanta Motor Speedway. Our very own Editor Crista Alarcon spent the weekend working in guest relations and networking. This will surely lead to great opportunities in the future.

Jeers

Jeers to bad competition weather. It sucks when the entire week of practice is sunny and nice but when the competition actually starts, it is raining and cold.

You feel awful, and you cannot hang out with friends or enjoy your vacation.”

Jeers to getting sick during break. You cannot do anything fun. You feel awful, and you cannot hang out with friends or enjoy your vacation.

Jeers to college visits. They are all the same. All just information on how you probably cannot get in or afford it.

Jeers to ulcers. Yeah, these are not fun to have. They are extremely painful and potentially harmful, as they could erode your stomach wall.

Jeers to driver’s education. It is tedious. It gives important information, but doing it digitally means that you read through a 30-minute slideshow, then you wait an hour for nothing. It demotivates a lot of people from finishing it until they are forced to.
