Cheers & Jeers

Cheers & Jeers
Cheers

Cheers to Spring Break. It’s always fun to have a break from everything. Now everyone is refreshed and ready to take on these next seven weeks…hopefully.

Now everyone is refreshed and ready to take on these next seven weeks…hopefully.”

Cheers to the solar eclipse. The total eclipse yesterday was really cool to see. We can’t wait to see the next one in 2044.

Cheers to this season of women’s basketball. South Carolina went undefeated and television ratings set new records.

Cheers to the weather. Finally, it’s not freezing. You can actually go outside in shorts and a t-shirt and not 50 layers of clothing.

Cheers to getting your permit or driver’s license. It feels invigorating to not have to rely on your parents to drive you everywhere or pick you up.

Jeers

Jeers to sunburns. There’s a dark side to having fun at the beach in the form of sunburns. They hurt so much and make sunbathing a risky move.

Things are getting stressful, coupled with no more breaks until summer.”

Jeers to natural disasters. Over break, New York was hit with an earthquake, worrying many inhabitants. Overall, natural disasters are really scary and make you wonder why mother nature is attacking us.

Jeers to AP exams approaching. Is anyone else feeling the time crunch? Things are getting stressful, coupled with no more breaks until summer. April is gonna get messy.

Jeers to watery eyes. Allergy season is here and now even with the littlest bit of pollen, your eyes can go red and watery. Not really fun.

Jeers to getting lost. Getting lost is really nerve wracking and it’s a little embarrassing when you have to ask for help in finding your way back.
