Cheers to Bruno Mars. Bruno Mars announced his first solo album in 10 years as well as a tour for 2026 with an Atlanta stop on April 25.
Cheers to junior Lindsey Kopacek. In last week’s 48-31 win over Harris County, Kopacek surpassed over 1,000 career points. She is only the seventh basketball player in school history to reach this milestone.
Cheers to alumnus Cole Bishop. Bishop secured the win for the Buffalo Bills in last Sunday’s Wild Card playoff game against the Jaguars by intercepting Trevor Lawrence’s pass. Their next game will be Saturday at 4:30 p.m. against the Denver Broncos.
Cheers to the dance team. The Pantherettes claimed first place in both pom and jazz at the Starr’s Mill Invitational. This was the second year in a row Starr’s Mill has hosted a dance competition.
Cheers to Club Picture Day. This Friday, students will gather in the auditorium for club photos. Make sure to thank Editor-in-Chief Ella Bissonnette and Staff Writer Maddie Strunk for helping the day run smoothly.
Jeers to prom scheduling. This year’s prom is set for the same day as the Bruno Mars concert in Atlanta and the same day as McIntosh and Sandy Creek’s proms.
Jeers to the “Stranger Things” finale. Imagine having an ending so bad that fans come up with theories that it is not actually over.
Jeers to cold cars. With freezing temperatures and ice on windshields, cars that refuse to heat up make mornings even more miserable.
Jeers to people not answering texts. There is nothing more frustrating than sending a message and watching it sit there with no response.
Jeers to the new iPhone update. With new “liquid glass” features, the update leaves your phone slower than ever, draining battery life, glitching apps, and resulting in what feels like a toy phone instead of an upgrade.
