Cheers & Jeers
Cheers

Cheers to next year’s drama season. The Starr’s Mill drama department will perform “The Addams Family: The Musical” as their One Act, “Mamma Mia” as their spring musical, and “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” as their kids’ show.

Cheers to APs. After AP exams, the classes become more of a free period for students to decompress and work on end-of-the-year assignments for other classes.

Cheers to mothers. In honor of Mother’s Day, the Prowler would love to wish a happy belated Mother’s Day to moms all around the world.

Cheers to the National Training Center. The U.S. Soccer Federation held their official ribbon cutting for the National Training Center in Trilith last Thursday. They will be completely moved in next week.

Cheers to the senior week. This week, the seniors will have their final days at Starr’s Mill and end it with a drum out on Thursday afternoon.

Jeers

Jeers to graduation party season. The stress of having to juggle tons of grad parties on the same days as well as figuring out where to get funds to get everyone a present is the absolute worst.

Jeers to dress shopping. Along with getting gifts for everyone, you also need to find dresses and outfits for all of those parties and occasions that come with the end of the year.

Jeers to Senior Splashing. I am pretty sure that this year’s game of Senior Splashing has been the longest to date with 12 weeks of play.

Jeers to concerts. Right now, it seems like every artist has decided to go on tour, which makes it so hard to decide which one to buy tickets for.

Jeers to the seniors’ final week. In addition to it being our final week of high school, this is also my very last “Cheers and Jeers.”
