Tim Monihan and Farmers Insurance recognize junior Kyle Rudolph as the seventh Player of the Week for the spring sports season.

“I feel like I’m a pretty great teammate,” Rudolph said. “I cheer on my teammates when I’m not playing, and when I’m playing, I do my best.”

Rudolph is one of the pitchers for the Panthers. He pitched a no-hitter in the team’s 1-0 victory over Lucy Beckham on April 1.

“[Kyle] is one of our leaders as a junior,” head coach Brent Mosley said. “He is strong mentally and one of our more consistent pitchers.”

The Panther baseball team is currently 9-0 in region play and 18-2 overall.

The team plays at Whitewater tonight at 7 p.m. and will host the Wildcats at 6 p.m. on April 16.
