Tim Monihan and Framers Insurance recognize junior Scott Moreman as the sixth Player of the week for the winter sports season. 

“We’ve just been focusing on our weaknesses and trying to improve them,” Moreman said. “We don’t want to mess around. We just want to get the job done the right way.” 

Moreman averages around 20 points and 10 rebounds per game.

“Every coach that watches him play says, ‘Man, I wish I had that guy on my team’,” head coach Josh Reeves said. “He’s just one of those players that you need to have on the court to be successful.” 

Earlier this week, the Panthers defeated Northside, 83-77. Starr’s Mill is currently 8-8 overall.

The Panthers host Griffin on January 20 at 7: 30 p.m. The Bears are currently second in the region (4-1), and Starr’s Mill is fourth (2-2).
