Tim Monihan and Farmer’s Insurance recognize senior dancer Madison Hand as the 10th Player of the Week for the winter sports season.
“I try my best to make sure everyone is loved and seen,” Hand said. “Everyone is needed to reach our end goal.”
Starr’s Mill has placed first in every competition they have entered this year. They will attempt to extend their streak of consecutive state championships to nine later this month.
As a four-year Pantherette, Hand has become a role model and a leader to the underclassmen on the team.
“Madison has been a Pantherette for four years,” dance head coach Mandy Ridgeway said. “She has this natural silence but very present leadership capacity.”
The Pantherettes travel to Mill Creek on February 7 for a rescheduled competition. They will compete at the GHSA State Championship on February 11-12 in Athens.
