Tim Monihan and Farmers Insurance recognize junior Spencer Ukleja as the third Player of the Week for the spring sports season.

“I try to just get better a little every day,” Ukleja said. “Find what I need to work on, and then take what I need to work on, and then I guess just work on it and make it better and better every single day.”

The Starr’s Mill Baseball team played a double header against Mundy’s Mill on March 11, and won both games, 16-0. 

“He is always doing extra stuff, and he is hitting and just playing really well overall,” Moseley said. “He is in there hitting early, he stays after practice late, so he always wants extra. He is always trying to get better.”

On Wednesday March 4, Ukleja collected two hits for the team, and just a day earlier, he hit a double, driving home two runners.

The Panthers are currently undefeated in region play. Starr’s Mill hosts Landmark at 3 p.m. on March 14.
