Tim Monihan and Farmers Insurance recognize junior soccer player Anthony Uribe as the seventh Player of the Week for the spring sports season.

“My contribution to the team is that I am very positive, and I always have that mindset,” Uribe said. “I’m just always focused on the next win.”

Uribe contributes to the team by always leading a positive example and having a good mindset during practice and games.

“Anthony has been a really good player this year,” Buck said. “He was asked to play in a position he wasn’t familiar with at the beginning of the year and just embraces that position and the responsibility it comes with.”

With there being no seniors on the team, Uribe has stepped up as leader and role model. He has scored 3 goals and has 2 assists for a total of 8 total points this season.
