Tim Monihan and Farmers Insurance recognize senior distance runner Nate Pacetti as the eighth Player of the Week for the spring sports season.
This is the second time Pacetti has earned Farmers Insurance Player of the Week recognition.
“I really feel like being able to be there for my teammates,” Pacetti said. “I had a season best the Saturday before spring break.”
As a senior on the team, he fills the role of a team leader and role model for the team. He not only has shown tremendous success but has brought his success to others on the team.
“Nate is one of our leaders on our team,” head coach Brandon Frey said. “Not only does he bring a tremendous amount of success, but he brings success to those around him.”
Pacetti is a long distance track runner. He also competes on the cross country team. His personal best 1600-meter time is 4 minutes, 20.82 seconds. Pacetti’s best time in the 3200-meter is 9:20.26.
The Panthers compete next in the region track meet hosted at Northside Columbus on April 22-23.
