Starr’s Mill welcomes French and Spanish teacher Noah Ellis to the Panther family.
“Teaching is like my new-found passion,” Ellis said.
Before he was a teacher, he was an interpreter in Metro Atlanta and in Toulouse, France. He worked that job for a little under two years and then moved back to Peachtree City to be closer to family.
Excluding English, Ellis speaks a total of five other languages. These languages include Korean, Portuguese, and Sign Language. Comparatively, just under 17 percent of people speak more than one language in the United States.
“If you’re talking about any country all over the world, nothing [is] better or worse,” Ellis said. “Everything is just different.”
Outside of school, Ellis plans to enroll in some adult-level language classes. Outside of those classes, Ellis enjoys working out and rock climbing.
