Freshman Abiella Anthony is currently reading “The High Republic: Out of the Shadows” by Justina Ireland.

“I love ‘Star Wars’ and saw it at the bookstore for a really good price,” Anthony said.
The science fiction book follows Sylvestri Yarrow who is known for her bad luck. After her mother’s death, she works hard to keep her family’s cargo business alive while also surviving ongoing attacks by a pirate group called the Nihil. Looking for help, she goes to Coruscant but gets in the middle of a dispute between two of the most powerful families. As her path collides with a group of Jedi, they work together uncovering Nihil’s motives and solve the family disputes.
“For anyone who loves ‘Star Wars’,” Anthony said, “it’s a very interesting taste.”
