Senior William Kessler is watching the TV series “Brooklyn Nine-Nine.”
“Brooklyn Nine-Nine” is a sitcom that follows a team of eight detectives when their new strict captain arrives to set the precinct straight. It is set in the heart of New York and mainly follows detective Jake Perlata who is the team’s brightest but also the most unprofessional. The show highlights their lives inside and outside of work all whilst solving crimes.
The show is eight seasons long containing around 20 episodes per season. The main cast is Andy Samberg as Jake Peralta, Andre Braugher as Captain Holt, Melissa Fumero as Amy Santiago, Stephaie Beatriz as Rosa Diaz, Chelsea Peretti as Gina Linetti, Joe Lo Truglio as Charles Boyle, Terry Crews as Terry Jeffords, Joel McKinnon as Norm Scully, and Dirk Blocker as Michael Hitchcock.
What motivated you to watch this film/series?
“I really like cop shows and thought this one would be a good one to watch,” Kessler said.
What did you enjoy about this film/series?
“It was really funny,” Kessler said. “There are not many boring moments. It always makes me laugh.”
What was the most memorable part of this film/series?
“I think the Halloween episodes were,” Kessler said. “They were always the funniest with all the elaborate pranks.”
How is this film/series different from others you have watched?
“It’s a lot less serious than other cop shows,” Kessler said. “It’s just something chill and funny to watch.”
