What class are you most looking forward to this year?

Freshman Kate Barthel

“I am most excited about math. However, I don’t like the subject itself. My teacher and class are very entertaining. I have Coach Castagna for 7th period algebra, and it’s a great way to end the day.”

Freshman Mo Macias

“I’m most excited for Spanish because my family originally speaks it, but I kind of lost the language growing up in the U.S. I hope I can relearn the language, and it’ll begin to come back to me.”

Freshman Mariyah Grant

“I’m most excited about healthcare, because I want to be a nurse or doctor when I grow up and healthcare is a great way to do that. It also has HOSA where you get to go places to practice nursing and helping people.”

Sophomore Noah Eller

“Band. It’s at the end of the day, so it’s my break from work before I go home.”

Sophomore McAlister Stanford

“AP Lit with Bowen. It’s really the only difficult class I have, and I enjoy a challenge. Plus, English is my thing.”

Sophomore Didi Stone

“Chanticleer, because I get to do one of the things I love doing the most, which is singing. I get to do it with a lot of other people who enjoy doing the same thing. I also really like the teacher, Dr. Odom.”

Junior Zack Brannon

“This year I am most excited for healthcare, because I am going to finish my first college course and be on a better path toward nursing school.”

Junior Tru Robbins

“I’m most excited for AP Psychology, because I’ve heard it’s a very interesting class and I love Mr. Hickey.”

Junior Addison Smith

“I am definitely most excited for AP Psych, because I love Mr. Hickey. He is just so funny and great.”

Senior Annaston Evers

“Physics, because I like my teacher, [Mr. Gillies].”

Senior Hannah Hornemann

“My favorite class is ceramics, because I get to be creative and I get a break from my schoolwork.”

Senior Adam Sands

“Team sports, because all I have to do is walk for 20 minutes a day.”
