The Starr’s Mill library is hosting a book swap that will take place on May 17-21.

“What we really wanted to do was have a book fair but it was not really an option with Covid,” media specialist Rick Wright said. “There aren’t many options for high school students, so what we came up with was the swap.”

Students will be allowed to pick from the donated display located on the tables in the media center. Students will either be given a pass or sent to the library as a class to swap books.

The preferred genres are manga/graphic novels, single comics, or novels with copyright dates between 2010-2021. Students must write their first and last names on the inside cover for credit of donation. Students who want a book but didn’t donate can buy a book for $1.

This is a great opportunity to get one last good book to read over the summer. Be sure to go and check it out.
