Panther Palooza is a chance for students to branch out and discover everything Starr’s Mill has to offer. This night includes academic opportunities, athletic offerings, and club fairs. The annual event begins at 5:30 p.m. on January 18.

Although it is only January, it is time for Starr’s Mill students to start thinking about next year’s classes.

Starr’s Mill is hosting Panther Palooza on the evening of January 18. This event combines freshman orientation and Special Programs Night, filled with clubs, academic opportunities, and athletic offerings.

“If you plan to attend Starr’s Mill High School next year, you get to have access to know more about all the AP classes, all the clubs and fairs, all of the sports, all of the fine arts, and all of the CTE pathways,” assistant principal Andrea Freeman said.

Panther Palooza allows students to see all Starr’s Mill offers. The event is open to all students who plan to attend Starr’s Mill next year, including rising 9th graders.

The event starts with the club and organization fair at 5:30 p.m. Then up-coming freshmen move to the auditorium for a 30-minute orientation starting at 6 p.m.

Panther Palooza will then proceed to different rotations with class and academic opportunity informational sessions. The evening will conclude at 7:30 p.m. This event officially begins course registration for the 24-25 school year.

Anyone who plans to attend Starr’s Mill next year is invited.
