The Starr’s Mill media center will host a book swap December 6-17. Students can participate by donating books published in the last 10 years. Books can also be purchased for $1.

Panthers, the media center’s book swap has returned.

Beginning November 29, students can donate manga/graphic novels, single comics, or novels with copyright dates between 2010-2021.

“We want to have current books because we want to have books that kids want to read,” media center specialist Rick Wright said.

Students who donate books will be allowed to pick out books from the donated display located on the tables in the media center from December 6-17.

“The Book Swap is something we started in May of last year, and we swapped about 100 books,” Wright said.

Anyone donating books should write their first and last name in the inside cover of the books, so they can get credit for the books they donate. Students can swap the number of books they donated.

Donated books can also be purchased for $1. See media specialist Rick Wright for more information.
