Math teacher John Campbell recently watched the series “Ted Lasso.”

Ted Lasso is an American comedy/drama television series released in 2020. The show is about the story of a man named Ted Lasso. He is an American football coach that is hired to coach a professional soccer team in England. With no experience in the sport, he succeeds in coaching the team.

What did you enjoy about this film/series?

“It’s funny, it has a great storyline, and it makes you laugh,” Campbell said. “It just makes you feel good.”

What motivated you to watch this series?

“Coach Bowen is someone who recommended it, and I heard some people talk about it.”

What was the most memorable part of this film/series?

“The show came out about the time that I started trying to watch more European soccer, so it was kind of neat to see some parallels to the show.”

How is this film/series different from others you have watched?

“I don’t watch a lot of series or films, but it is sports-related, which is nice.”

What other films/series similar to this one would you recommend?

“There’s another soccer [series] which is more of a documentary called ‘Welcome to Wrexham’.”
