Sophomore Eli Gardner recently watched “Chicken Little.”
“Chicken Little” is an animated movie that tells the story of a young chicken who, after being struck in the head by an acorn, causes a panic in his community by thinking that the sky is falling. Following the incident, Chicken Little finds it difficult to regain his reputation. When his worries come true and aliens come from the sky together with their misfit friends they have to work together to rescue the town.
Mark Dindal directed this film. He is known for directing other movies such as “The Garfield Movie” and “The Emperor’s Life.”
What did you enjoy about this film?
“The irony when an acorn hit him in his head, and freaked out that the sky was falling and at the end of the movie it actually happened,” Gardner said.
What did you enjoy about this film?
“My 7-year-old neighbor, who I was babysitting, was watching it and it looked interesting,” Gardner said. “I asked him about it and that prompted me to watch it.”
What was the most memorable part of this film?
“The most memorable part was when he started to open up and learn how to make friends,” Gardner said.
How was this film different to others you’ve watched?
“The film is different because instead of it being about humans it was about animals with human emotions,” Gardner said.
What other films similar to this would you recommend?
“I would recommend ‘A Bug’s Life’ if you’re instead watching a movie about animals,” Gardner said.
