Math teacher Dr. Nick Castagna is currently listening to “I’ll Follow You” by Shinedown.
“Shinedown is one of my favorite bands,” Castagna said. “It’s a good, nice, sweet, romantic, rock song.”
“I’ll Follow You” by Shinedown is categorized as a rock song. The lyrics relate to a message of loyalty and commitment. Castagna has been a long-time fan of Shinedown and has seen them live multiple times.
“This is one of the first songs that I showed my wife from the band,” Castagna said. “It ended up being our wedding song.”
Lead singer Brent Smith formed Shinedown in 2001. Since then they have released seven albums, “The Sound of Madness,” released in 2008, being the most popular. The band has earned multiple awards from the MTV Video Music Awards, iHeart Radio Music Awards, American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and the Kerrang! Awards.
“Their entire ‘Sound of Madness’ album is fantastic,” Castagna said. “They’ve got some good songs.”
