Starr’s Mill continued their winning streak against region opponents with a 10-0 win over Drew Tuesday night in wet conditions to improve to 3-0-0. Senior Riley Clark led the charge with three goals, while senior Lauren Yoss and freshman Merritt Parker each scored once and each recorded two assist.

Juniors Ashley Broderick and Sky Dedrick and sophomores Sara Biddle and Lauren Avidano also scored goals for the Panthers.

Drew didn’t help their score because they gave up their own goal during a scramble for the ball. Senior Leslie Logan recorded two assists and junior Ansley Peurifoy added another to round out the scoring.

The boys varsity match was postponed due to deteriorating field conditions. The game has been rescheduled for March 2 at 6 p.m.

Both teams hit the road Friday as they travel to Dutchtown for another region encounter. The girls kick off the doubleheader at 5:30 p.m. with the boys playing the night cap.
