Starr’s Mill welcomes new 10th and 12th grade English teacher Stan Hill into the Panther family. Before coming to the Mill, Hill taught at Stockbridge High School, and Union Grove High School.

Hill’s number one priority is making sure that each student comes out of his class more successful than when he or she came in. He wants to meet students “where their abilities are and make their weaknesses strengths, and help them move forward in whichever area that they need to move forward.”

In his free time, Hill enjoys spending time with his family, including his five year-old daughter. In addition to teaching, he will assist track and field coach Chad Walker in the spring.

“[Starr’s Mill is a] great place to teach, great atmosphere, great kids, and a great place to be living,” Hill said.
