Economics club is for students interested in discussing the economy and the policies in the economy. Students wanting to be more informed voters may also enjoy club meetings.

“There are no dues,” club sponsor Mark DeCourcy said. “Just bring your own coffee.” The club meets typically every other week in the mornings or afternoons, depending on the students’ schedules.

The club also serves to recruit students for the Econ Challenge that occurs every year at the Federal Reserve. Students in the state compete in the Challenge taking tests in two divisions: AP/IB Economics Adam Smith Division and the College Prep David Ricardo Economics division.
