Starr’s Mill welcomes school nurse Jenna Lawlor to the Panther family.

Lawlor grew up in Peachtree City and attended McIntosh High School. She has worked as a nurse for about two and a half years. This is her first year as a school nurse.

“My favorite part of my job is working with the students,” Lawlor said. “Getting to know the kids and building relationships with them.”

Lawlor was always interested in the medical field and decided she wanted to be a nurse. After working at Piedmont all of her career, she wanted a change. She wanted to work with a different age audience and decided that high was the right age range.

“Trying to be as relatable as possible,” Lawlor said. “I think it’s really important to treat each kid specific to their needs but all equal.”

Outside of work Lawlor enjoys walking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
