Madi Handley, Editor

I am very excited to start this year with The Prowler as an editor and help with the program. From this program I have found a love for photography and writing about my opinions which I am extremely excited to continue to work on and learn more about. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with friends and baking. I am hoping that this year I will make it into my dream college, FSU and pursue a degree in journalism with a minor in either marketing or photography. I can’t wait to see what this year has to hold!

This is senior Madi Handley’s fourth year in journalism.

High schools have made it so that their students are overworking themselves and get little sleep making their students drink energy drinks to stay awake. Schools are meant to be protecting their students. Why are they causing their students to turn to something harmful?

Energy drink brands are marketing their brand to young adults and adolescents through social media, celebrities and influencers, events, and more. This is unethical and energy drink brands should change their strategies.
