Jeers

Jeers to being out sick. Having an illness is already unpleasant. But watching the make-up work pile up higher than the empty bottles of cough medicine in your trash bin just makes the ailment that much worse.

Jeers to Netflix discontinuing shows midway through the plot. Like with “Locke and Key,” “The Society,” and “Anne with an E,” some shows are canceled just a few seasons in, leaving the audience to draw up their own conclusions about the fate of the characters.

Jeers to inadequate writing utensils. Whether it be a pen that bleeds onto the other side of the paper or a mechanical pencil that always seems to be out of graphite, these faulty appliances test the patience of diligent note takers.

Jeers to driving a golf cart to school during the frigid winter months. Golf cart rides are a yea. Beautiful winter mornings are a yay. Put together, they are a nay.

Jeers to social media expectations. Let’s be honest, we all know everyone else is only posting the good stuff, too.
