Starr’s Mill welcomes counselor Pam Lewis to the Panther family.
“I’ve watched Starr’s Mill from afar,” Lewis said. “I’ve always liked the energy at Starr’s Mill.”
Lewis was never searching for a job, but promised herself that if a position ever came open at Starr’s Mill, she would try her best to get it.
“I’ve always known I was service-minded,” Lewis said. “I wanted to be a part of that journey for students, whatever that journey may be.”
Although she started out her career in the medical field, Lewis has been a counselor for 13 years, with 11 of those at the high school level. Lewis was first introduced to the world of education by her role model and AP British Literature teacher Marsha Williams.
Lewis is a mother to four children, and enjoys traveling in her free time.
