Mira Sorvino and Gleb Savchenko were eliminated this week. Mira Sorvino got to dance with her daughter to the song “Time After Time” by Cyndi Lauper. The couple received a total of 22 points.

“Dancing with the Stars” current cast members and some guest pros joined together to create a beautiful routine to honor Len Goodman who passed away due to bone cancer earlier this year in April.

Goodman passed away at the age of 78, surrounded by his family. Growing up he was a ballroom dancer, and a dance judge. He was a judge on “Dancing with the Stars” for 28 seasons. He retired in season 31 to spend time with his family.

To honor Goodman, the team performed a waltz routine to Goodman’s favorite song “Moon River.” Judge Derek Hough and host Julianne Hough joined this tribute alongside pros Mark Ballas, Kym Johnson-Herjavec, Louis Van Amstel, Maks Chmerkovskiy, Tony Dovolani and Anna Trebunskaya.

The theme of this week’s episode of “Dancing with the Stars” was “Most Memorable Year.”

This week’s top competitors were Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvinstev, and Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy who both received a total score of 28 out of 30 points and had the first ten from a judge in this season.

Lawson and Chigvinstev performed a contemporary routine to the song “Lose You To Love Me” by Selena Gomez. The team received a ten from judge Carrie Ann and nines from judges Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli.

Gomez and Cherkovskiy performed a Vienese waltz routine to the song “Until I Found You” by Stephen Sanchez. The team received a ten from judge Derek Hough and nines from judges Carrie Ann and Bruno Tonioli.

The couple that stuck out to me the most during this week’s performances were Barry Williams and Peta Murgatroyd. This couple performed a paso doble routine to the song “Born To Be Wild” by Steppenwolf.

Williams’ most memorable year was 1968 because that was the year he was still young and wild. This couple’s routine stuck out to me the most because they were on time with their counts and showed the right emotions throughout the routine. They received an eight from each judge, giving them a total of 24 points.

This week’s eliminations were Mira Sorvino and Gleb Savchenko. Sorvino chose 2004 as her most memorable year because that is the year she gave birth to her daughter Mattea Backus. Her daughter got to join her mother in the routine, which made this performance extra special for both of them and a moment they will never forget.

Sorvino and Savchenko performed a contemporary routine to the song “Time After Time” by Cyndi Lauper. They received an eight from Derek Hough and sevens from Carrie Ann and Bruno Tonioli, giving them a score of 22 points.

Next week’s theme is “Halloween.” On November 14 the theme will be “Whitney Houston” where Billy Porter will be a guest judge that night.

You can stream “Dancing with the Stars” live every Tuesday night at 8 p.m. on ABC and Disney+. Viewers are allowed to vote until the last commercial break.
