Assistant principal Elise Heaton is reading “Generation Z Unfiltered: Facing Nine Hidden Challenges of the Most Anxious Population” by Tim Elmore.

The book’s central theme is about the life of Generation Z and how to help them out in life as adults from the Millennium.

“The thing that I like most about this book is that they also incorporate a lot of true life stories, like real stories of students from Generation Z from around the country,” Heaton said. “Their true stories bring what the author is saying to life with interesting facts and unique stories.”

“Generation Z Unfiltered: Facing Nine Hidden Challenges of the Most Anxious Population,” and the rest of the series, are about explaining the lives of GenZ children. Elmore writes these books to inform those who are reading them to understand and to help their children and others.

Tim Elmore is a founder of the Growing Leaders. Elmore and his coworkers work together to help students build their knowledge in the different school classes. Tim Elmore has written over 35 books like “Generation IY: Our last chance to save their future.”

“I would recommend teachers, parents and other administrators read this and anyone who works with children who are a part of Generation Z,” Heaton said. “Sometimes it is very hard to understand [this generation], so this will help give us a little bit of a guide as to what is going through your crazy brains.”

Elmore studied at Azusa Pacific University for eight years and graduated in 2000. Throughout his studying, he focused on leadership for the next generations.

Anyone looking for a helpful way to help their child should read the Tim Elmore generation book series.
