Drama teacher Cody Ward has recently been watching the hit reality TV show, “The Great British Bake Off.”
This show follows contestants through a series of baking challenges, in hopes that they will advance to the next round. Each baker puts their best foot, and food, forward in order to have their chance at winning the engraved glass cake trophy and special bouquet of flowers.
The cast changes every season, introducing new bakers that will attempt to win the judges over with their delectable deserts. The judges, however, typically remain the same each season, currently including Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith as the main two.
What did you enjoy about this series?
“I like that it made me hungry,” Ward said. “I liked some of the challenges of the different things they were making, and I also liked how sweet and simple the show is.”
