Math teacher Julie Spencer is currently listening to “Humble and Kind” by Tim McGraw.

“I like the song because I danced with my son to it at his wedding, and he chose it,” Spencer said.

“Humble and Kind” shares the importance of always keeping yourself down to earth and not getting too big for your britches in the world.

“Humble and Kind” was released as a single in 2016 on the album “Damn Country Music.” The song is an overall slow song that stays that way throughout the entirety but picks up a little bit around the end of the chorus. The song’s instruments are light, and the main focus is on his voice to carry the song.

Tim McGraw has had a long career. He released his first album “Tim McGraw” in 1993. Although the album did not sell successfully, it put him on the map. The release of “All I want” in 1995 pushed him into the mainstream, and he has been there since, especially in the country sphere.

“He’s very down to earth and very adaptable, very multi-talented,” Spencer said.

“Humble and Kind” can be found on all listening platforms.
