Stop checking Schoology or InfiniteCampus for your grades. Instead, go to your favorite music streaming app and listen to “Take Care” by Beach House. Simply a feel-good song, it is sure to help all stress disappear.

The song is about someone who is willing to be there for someone they love, promising they will take care of them. With the use of a simple beat produced by guitar and piano, the song sounds wholesome and raw, making the message of care much more substantial.

Beach House consists of Victoria Legrand (vocalist and keyboardist) and Alex Scally (back-up vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist). The album “Teen Dream” that includes the song “Take Care” was released in January of 2010 and was ranked no. 5 on Pitchfork‘s Top 50 Albums of 2010.

In an interview with Pitchfork, Scally said,”A lot of people listening to music now don’t listen to the songs or lyrics at all. They just go, ‘Good tones…’ and that’s it. But we’re obsessed with songs.”

If you’re ever stressed or just want a song to calm you down, I recommend listening to “Take Care” by Beach House.
