“The Way Things Go” is a single by Beabadoobee, an alternative/indie singer-songwriter who started making music in 2017. “The Way Things Go” is an acoustic-heavy song that entices the listener with the instruments and its meaningful lyrics.

“The Way Things Go” by Beabadoobee is a song about somebody who was once very close to the singer but is now a distant memory of the past.

The beginning of the song begins with a harp until a guitar slowly enters. Then, the song utilizes a more acoustic sound through its entirety. The song does not use any electric instruments, only relying on a guitar and the background music. During the bridge of the song, there is a chorus that backs the main vocals and it creates a calming listening experience.

Beabadoobee is an alternative/indie singer-songwriter.  She mainly produces songs about relationships and her inner turmoil. “The Way Things Go” is her most recent single that was released on July 18, 2023.

Beabadoobee first wrote and uploaded the song “Coffee.” She uploaded the song to YouTube in September of 2017 and it reached over 300,000 views.  After this, she gained the attention of Dirty Hit Records and got signed in September of 2018.

Following this, Beabadoobee was shot into the spotlight again in early 2020 after she was featured in “Death bed (Coffee for your head)” by Powfu, which went viral on TikTok.

You can listen to Beabadoobee on Spotify, Apple Music, and any other streaming platform.
