I chose this song because I have always admired Olivia Rodrigo’s ability to connect with her listeners and to tell her story. Consistently, she puts herself in vulnerable positions within her music, truly allowing us to see her “raw” side. That takes guts and it pays off in the end. “drop dead” is a great comeback single and it makes me really excited to see where the rest of her album takes us.
