For senior softball player Hailey Clark, signing a scholarship to play at Palm Beach State College in Florida is a dream come true.
Friday afternoon, Clark’s family, including her parents, sister Kasi and her grandmother, surrounded her in the Media Center as she signed her name on the dotted line. Also present were her high school coaches Mark Williamson and Rhonda Manley and her middle school coach, Miki Howard.
Clark said she has played softball since she was four years old. Clark pitched and played first base for the Lady Panthers all four years.
“It feels fantastic to be able to go to college and play the sport I love,” Clark said.
