  • McIntosh High School’s Kayla Rose and Starr’s Mill sophomore Allie Walker finish running the 1600-meter race. Walker placed second with a time of 5 minutes, 20.23 seconds. Rose placed first with a run of 5:20.02.

  • Seniors Nick Nyman and Harrison Fultz compete in the 1600-meter race. Nyman placed first with a run of 4 minutes, 17.15 seconds. Fultz placed third with a time of 4:27.81.

  • Junior Julia Colson clears the bar in the pole vaulting event. Colson placed first with a jump of 11 feet. Junior Jenna Sulkowski placed second with a jump of 9.5 feet.

  • Junior Joseph Sulkowski warms up before pole vaulting preliminaries. Sulkowski pole vaulted 10.9 feet to earn first place overall.

  • Griffin athlete Chuney Web competes in the girls shot put finals. Web placed third with a throw of 32.07 feet. Morgan Johnson from Whitewater placed first overall with a throw of 41.10 feet.

  • Senior Kelvin Weyl throws a shot put. Weyl placed seventh with a distance of 42 feet.

  • Senior Joseph Lynch winds up to throw in the discus preliminaries. Lynch threw a distance of 123 feet in finals to place him at third overall. He will be moving onto throw at the Sectional Meet.

  • Freshman Annaston Evers competes in the long jump. Evers placed eighth with a jump of 15.2 feet. Imani Moore from Fayette County placed first with a jump of 18.05 feet.

  • Senior Will Doil executes a triple jump. Doil placed seventh with a jump of 40 feet. Amanuel McDowell from Griffin placed first in boys’ triple jump with a jump of 45.03 feet.

  • Senior Cole Shadinger jumps 5 feet, 10 inches. Shadinger placed fifth in the high jump.

  • Senior Johnathan Ulversoy runs in the boys’ 4x100-meter relay. Starr’s Mill placed 3rd with a time of 42.96 seconds.

  • Senior Harrison Fultz runs in the boys’ 4x400-meter relay. Starr’s Mill placed first with a time of 3 minutes, 19.66 seconds.

  • Senior Nick Nyman runs in the boys’ 3200-meter race. Nyman placed first with a time of 9 minutes, 23.23 seconds.

  • Seniors Jalen Lazenby, Harrison Fultz, Nick Nyman, and Mitchell Harris pose for a photo with the trophy from the Region 3-AAAAA boys’ track championship. Starr’s Mill earned 146 points for boys, Whitewater placed second with 108 points, and McIntosh placed third with 73 points.
