Starting next year, the Starr’s Mill athletic program will partner with Adidas. More equipment, like this soccer jersey, will be sponsored by Adidas. Adidas will send new equipment to the school for major wins, such as region and state titles.

Starr’s Mill athletics have taken a huge step when it comes to their sponsorships, as globally known sports company Adidas has now partnered with the school.

“The school and our athletic programs are going to get a lot of incentives for being successful,” assistant principal and athletic director Shane Ratliff said. “We’re losing a lot of cost that we’ve been paying the last few years that we’re not paying anymore.”

Adidas will provide new gear to the school for region title wins, state title wins, Director’s Cup wins, and Coach of the Year wins.

This change will impact and benefit all teams at Starr’s Mill.

Along with Adidas, T&G Allsports has joined the partnership as they will help by providing the school with new equipment.

The involvement of Adidas stretches to the Metro Atlanta area in other ways. The main one being sponsoring the new Fall Football Jamboree, where three teams from Fayette County and Coweta County will square off against each other to begin the football season.

“We want to keep this partnership for multiple years as long as it works for us,” Ratliff said. “If Adidas and T&G still like doing business with us after a year, we will continue the partnership.”

With this new partnership, Panther athletics will be looking for new success and new gear. This change will come into effect next season.
