Starr’s Mill welcomes athletic director secretary Sarah Harmond to the Panther family.

Harmond joins the front office staff at Starr’s Mill after working for three years at Peeples Elementary.

“I took business classes, accounting classes and oral communication, which has helped me in my jobs as a secretary,” Harmond said.

Harmond’s work includes managing athletic events, answering the phone and responding to inquiries concerning athletic events, and working with athletes and coaches.

“I thought it would be fun and challenging to go from working with elementary kids to working with high school students,” Harmond said. “I wanted a new challenge.”

Outside of school Harmond spends time at baseball or softball games to support her children.
