Last Friday, the Starr’s Mill swim team started its quest for a 21st consecutive county championship, defeating McIntosh 307 to 243. “We need to just stay focused, one meet at a time, one week at a time, one practice at a time,” girls’ swim coach Robin Huggins said. “We can’t take anything for granted.”

The Panthers won both matches against East Coweta and Carrollton, but lost to Trinity. “If we have confidence beating someone, a bigger school or a higher region, it gives us confidence in our region,” head coach Jason Flowers said.
